Autumn colors

Wow, hoy ha sido un día con mil cosas que hacer! Hasta llegué tarde a mi propio showroom (perdón por hacerlas esperar a las que vinieron temprano). El look de hoy es recontra otoñal, solo con ver los colores se siente que el invierno está cerca! Al fin podremos usar nuestras chompotas...La mía es de Camote Soup, en el showroom hay en este color, plomo-verdoso y guinda! No se olviden que estaré esta semana en showroom abierto hasta el miércoles de 4 a 9pm! Los otros días será con cita! Nos vemos!!

Wow, today was a very busy day! I even got late to my own trunkshow (i apologize for the delay). Today's look is a very autumn one, just with those colors we can see winter is near! At last we're gonna be able to wear our huge cozy sweaters...mine is from Camote Soup, at the trunkshow you can get them in this color, burgundy and green-grey. See ya!

Green Satchel

Acá les muestro un outfit un poco primaveral, con algunos elementos que no les debe faltar: Un satchel de color, una prenda de flores y un cardigan básico. El vestido es vintage, me quedaba hasta los tobillos pero lo corté porque usar algo a esa altura nos acorta las piernas demasiado, el cardigan es Camote Soup!! No se olviden que hoy hay showroom de 4 a 9pm! Vean la info AQUI.

Here i show you a spring outfit, with some elements that you should have: A color satchel, a garment with flowers and a basic cardigan. The dress is vintage, i cut it cause it was very long (to the ankles) and people that is short like me can't wear things to the ankles cause that make you look shorter, and the cardigan is from Camote Soup!!

The brain eaters

Cómo están hoy? A mi me espera un día largo de ordenar y decorar mi oficina, hasta ayer era un desastre pero ya está quedando genial! En las fotos estoy usando mi polo de "The brain eaters" (me encanta el estampado) y mi falda de terciopelo de Camote Soup! Como ya saben, el color burgundy está muy fuerte esta temporada! La casaca la conseguí en Dunkelvolk, ustedes saben lo dificil que es conseguir una casaca de jean chévere en Lima...pues ya saben a donde ir!! Que tengan un lindo domingo!

How you doing today? I've got a long day to accommodate and decorate my office, until yesterday it was a mess, but it's looking good now! In this pictures i'm wearing my "The brain eaters" shirt and velvet skirt from Camote Soup. Like you already know, burgundy color is very strong this season. The jacket is from Dunkelvolk, you know that getting a cool denim jacket here in Lima is kind of difficult...so now you know where to go! Have a nice sunday!

Hello, you look taller

Hoy les traigo una idea de como hacer que se te vean las piernas más largas sin acortar tanto el torso. Usa un short un poco más abajo de la cintura y marca ese corte con una correa (para dar la impresión que estás marcando la cintura) así no llegarás a acortar tanto tu torso. Por otro lado, consigue un short ancho y bien corto, para que no se note donde termina el tiro de éste. Agrégale unos tacos altos y un top o body de rayas verticales como este de Rock Papaya y listo! Te verás mucho más estilizada!

Today i got you a trick to make your legs look longer! Wear your shorts a bit lower than your waist line and mark it with a belt to make that line look like your waist (with this you are not shortening your torso to much). By the other side, wear wide and short shorts, with this you're not gonna notice where the crotch of your shorts end. Add to the outfit high heels or platforms and a vertical striped top like this one from Rock Papaya and that's it! You're gonna look a lot more stylized!

Cómo están hoy? Yo vengo de hacer unas fotos para la expo de Look Book que se hará en la galería Domingo esta semana que viene, estaré ahí con Camote Soup!! Bueno, creo que es la primera vez que posteo algo con un pantalón de jean, siempre me ha parecido una prenda muy necesaria pero también aburrida, así que lo combiné con cosas que estuvieran más elaboradas como mi blusa de la espalda descubierta de Camote Soup y mi sombrerillo camel. También opté por estos pumps simples que por su taco te estilizan muy bien y mi nueva cartera que llegó hace unos días! Un look simple pero interesante que les puede servir para varias ocasiones.

How are you today? I've just got back from a photoshoot of a fashion expo we are doing this week, i'm gonna be there with Camote Soup (my brand)!!Well, i think this is the first time i'm wearing jeans in my blog, i think it's a very necessary garment but also think it's kind of boring, so i combined it with other stuff that are more elaborated like this blouse from Camote Soup and my camel hat. I also pick this simple pumps that stylized you very well because of it's heels and my new bag that arrived some days ago! A simple but interesting look that can be useful for many ocations.

Skulls and Spikes

Empezamos una semana más y mayo está a punto de terminar...ha pasado muy rápido este mes.
En el look de hoy decidí mostrar una forma super sport de usar la maxi falda asimétrica de gasa de Camote Soup ya que he escuchado a muchas chicas decir en el showroom que solo se la pondrían para algo elegante. Como ven, esta es una prenda camaleón que te puede servir para cualquier tipo de evento dependiendo con qué la combines. Yo me la puse con un polo básico negro, mi chaleco de jean de Dunkelvolk, una camisa de cuadros vintage y unos botines. El collar fue un regalo de una amiga que vino de Argentina. Ojalá les haya gustado y hasta el siguiente post!

Starting another week again and May is just about to end...This month has passed so fast!
In today's look i wanted to show a way to wear the asymmetric chiffon skirt from Camote Soup in a sport way cause i've been hearing a lot at the trunkshow that the girls say they are just gonna be able to wear it for an elegant night ocasion. Like you see, this is a chameleon garment, you can wear it all day long for any event, it just depends on the way you combined it. I wore it with a basic black top, my denim vest from Dunkelvolk, a vintage shirt and my booties. The necklace was a gift from a friend who came from Argentina. Hope you liked!!!

Light café

Ah! Justo acabo de llegar de las clases de styling y me doy con la sorpresa que hay una reunión en mi casa y hay piqueos ricos (wuju!). Les quería mostrar mi look de hoy antes de dormir, otra vez estamos con los colores otoñales, me gustó bastante como estaba la luz de esa hora y también que había algo de viento. Estoy usando un top básico negro, mi nueva casaca de Rock Papaya (me encanta porque combina con todo), un chaleco tejido debajo, short vintage, sombrero negro y plataformas negras. Un outfit para andar de día antes de que comience a hacer más frío!

Ah! I've just came back from the styling lessons and i found the surprise in my house that there's a reunion with some yummy snacks (wuju!). I wanted to show you my today's outfit before going to sleep, again i'm wearing autumn colors, i liked a lot the lightning of that hour and also the wind. I'm wearing a basic black top, my new jacket from Rock Papaya (i like it cause it combines with everything), a knitted vest under it, vintage shorts, a black hat and my black wedges. An outfit to wear during the day until weather gets colder!

Hoy nos pusimos un poco más punkies, como ya varias sabrán esta tendencia de las telas escocesas ha vuelto maso desde el invierno del año pasado, y este invierno sigue estando muy fuerte! Yo usé mi falda con este polo de los Ramones de FAN que conseguí en la expo-venta de LookBook Lima, una casaca de cuero, mi beanie negro de Camote Soup y los botines de siempre. Que les haya gustado y que tengan un lindo día!! :)

We got punkie today, like you prob already know, the pladed trend has come back since last years winter maybe? And this winter stills very strong (for the ones who live in the south of the world). Iwore my plaid skirt with my new top from FAN, a leather jacket, my beanie from Camote Soup and the booties of always. Hope you like and have a really nice day!! :)

Black Velvet

Hola todos! En el post de hoy les traigo una vez más un poco de terciopelo (me encanta), ya saben que esta tela se estará usando un montón este invierno ya sea en vestidos, pantalones, faldas, polos o blazers...Solo hay que tomar en cuenta que es una tela que resalta bastante por su brillo así que deben bajarla un poco mezclándola con otras telas que no llamen mucho la atención para que tu outfit no se termine viendo muy recargado. El vestido es de Camote Soup y ya volvieron a llegar los guindas que se habían acabado al showroom!

Hey everybody! In Today's post i'm showing velvet once again (i just love it), you know we are gonna be using this fabric a lot this winter either in dresses, pants, tops, skirts or blazers...just don't forget to wear it with something else that doesn't call the attention to much so you don't end up wearing an overcharged outfit. The dress is from Camote Soup and the burgundy ones are already back at the trunkshow!!

Burgundy sweater

Chompa corta sobre blusa larga, nunca les fallará. De preferencia úsenlas con un pantalón pegado o un short o falda corta para jugar con las proporciones de manera balanceada. Si la blusa es larga (como esta) entonces lo mejor es ponerse tacos del mismo color del pantalón para dar la sensación de alargar las piernas, así como hice yo, sino se me hubiera visto super enana...Las blusa y la chompa son de Camote Soup y las consiguen en diferentes colores y en cualquiera de los 2 showrooms!!

Short sweater over a large blouse, never fails! It's better if you wear them with something tight or short at the bottom so you can play in a balanced way with the proportions. If the blouse is long like this one, then it's better if you wear heels of the same color of your pants so you can give a longer appearance to your legs, like i did, if not, i would look like a midget...The blouse and sweater are from Camote Soup!!

Long fringes

Me gusta mucho combinar el denim con el leopardo y cualquier prenda negra, escogí para esto el polo de flecos de Camote Soup, panties rasgadas y plataformas simples (ya que con todo lo de arriba era suficiente). Les voy adelantando que se viene una sopresa en Camote Soup...ya luego les cuento más, pero es algo que las hará muy felices jojojo. (Para las que no sabían, Camote Soup ya está enviando pedidos al extranjero, si quieren más info sobre esto me mandan un inbox AQUI).

I like a lot how denim looks with leopard and black garments, for this i chose this black fringed top from Camote Soup, black ripped tights and basic wedges (cause all of the above was enough). I have something very nice to tell you about Camote Soup but it's gonna have to be another day...Just gonna tell you it's gonna make you very happy :) (BTW...Camote Soup is already shipping orders out of Perú, for more info just inbox me HERE).

Warm and Cold

Hace una semana que quería mostrarles la nueva blusa de Camote Soup que ha llegado al showroom!! La parte de adelante y el cuello son de gasa, las mangas y la espalda son tejidas y, tiene la espalda chorreada como ven en las fotos. Qué les parece?

Since a week ago i've been wanting to show you the new blouse from Camote Soup that has arrive to the trunkshow!! The front and collar are chiffon and the arms and back are knitted. It also has the back open like you can see here in the pics. What do you think?

So The Fish Start To Walk...

Azul marino + tejidos étnicos, otra combinación que me está gustando bastante últimamente (sí...seguimos con el azul) y que mejor que en una blusa sueltota como ésta de Dunkelvolk! La usé con este short tejido de Camote Soup y con mis nuevas Litas negras. Me gusta el balance de colores fríos y cálidos del outfit, a ustedes que les parece?

Dark Blue + ethnic knits, another combination that i'm liking a lot lately (yes...we still with the blue) and better if it's in a wide and comfy blouse like this one from Dunkelvolk! I wore it with my knitted shorts from Camote Soup and my new black Litas. I like the balance of cold and warm tones in this outfit, what do you think of it?
